SUB: Date Extended For Girl Child Scholarship Scheme (GCSS).
As you are aware, we launched the Girl Child Scholarship Scheme (GCSS) last year where in 75 girls - who were academically inclined but came from modest economical background were given a scholarship of Rs 18000/ each to assist them in completing their education. Nominations were accepted through schools only - we received over 4000 nominations from schools.
We are pleased to share that this year we have increased the scholarship numbers to 150. Details / terms & conditions are mentioned in the nomination form sent along with the prospectus. The form can also be viewed / downloaded from our site. http://www.sofworld.org/http%
We have received numerous requests for extension since a large number of schools have reopened late and have been busy in admissions etc.
We are happy to extend the last date of GCSS till 31st August 2012. Kindly send your nominations so as to reach us completed in all respects by 31st August. We will be unable to extend the due date any more.
We will declare the list of selected students by Sept 012
